2018 NYFW because FoMo

I’m having SERIOUS fomo over New York Fashion Week.

I’m obsessed with all of the fabulous blogger’s whose stories I’ve been watching as they parade the streets of New York. Obviously I’m not cool enough to be at fashion week so I’m making the most of it until I am. So for the next couple days, I’ll be posting a NYFW inspired look for you all! If you’re missing fashion week like me but still want to be just as fabulous and extra, I’ll be showing you how you can style fashion week looks for everyday life.

Fair Warning: I do use affiliate links within this post but all opinions and outfit ideas are mine!

Day 3 – LBD, NBD

One final NYFW inspired outfit for you all is this perfect LBD!

*Bear with me while I get on my soapbox about little black dresses*

You’ve GOT to have one in your closet! They are such a staple. A simple LBD is perfect for almost any occasion and can be dressed up or dressed down. If this particular one looks familiar, it’s because I wore it with an olive jacket in a post last Sunday on my Instagram. See you almost didn’t even notice it was the same dress. That’s how versatile they are! Anyway back to this outfit…

You almost can’t go wrong with a look like this. The wrap detail is great for accentuating the waist line and paired with some strappy sandals you’re all set. I got this particular LBD from my Stitch Fix stylist! I won’t go on a rant about how much I love Stitch fix, I did that here,  but if you want to sign up and get $25 off your first order you can here!

Day 2 – A Stroll Through Central Park

Gingham Top| Pink Pants| ASOS Sandals

New York is such an inspiring city. If you’ve been I bet you can relate to the indescribable buzz the city has. It’s like everything is full of life and it truly never sleeps. This look is inspired by all of the creative and dainty inspiration from a walk in New York during the spring.

Day 1 – Twist on a Classic

I’m a firm believer that everyone should have at least one good suit or suit pieces. This outfit is taking a spin on a classic suit by swapping some pieces for recent trends. Bike shorts and blazers have been all over this year’s fashion week streets. It’s fun to mix pieces you normally wouldn’t pair together for a more unique and creative look. Layered necklaces have also been very popular accessories with this trend this year.
