Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!
A day to celebrate love, eat candy and maybe even snuggle with someone special if you’re lucky. I’m a big Valentine’s Day fan mostly for the candy and getting a chance to dress up a bit. Today I’m showing you two, count them, TWO outfit ideas for your Valentine’s Day. Both outfits have pieces from Not UR Ordinary Boutique. They are a small boutique but have some great pieces. Definitely check them out. Also, if you use discount code Marilee10, you’ll save some money on their site! Let’s get started!
Flirty and Thriving
Can’t go wrong with red for Valentine’s day. Not UR Ordinary has this amazing ruffle skirt that’s so perfect for V Day. It’s got a tiny heart pattern and a flirty silhouette. The ruffles are so fun and bring a flirty vibe to the whole look. I’ve paired it with a simple white bodysuit and some florals in the kimono. This particular kimono I got from Stitch Fix. I think mixing patterns is really unique and can be so cute when done correctly. The red in the skirt and kimono go well together for this outfit and the flowers add a more romantic vibe to this very otherwise flirty look. To finish it off, I’ve added just some white sneaks with a pointed toe. I also think white ankle boots would go well with this outfit.
It’s All Chic to Me
This look is a bit more refined and put together. I’ve gone completely away from the flirtiness of the first look with some more chic vibes here. To start, I’ve layered a cute black cami from Not Ur Ordinary with some simple black skinny jeans. I think this look is so classic. To add a bit more flare I added a patterned blazer as a statement piece and some white ankle booties as an accent. I like this look for Valentine’s Day because it still comes across as romantic without being overstated. This outfit would be perfect for a dinner date in the city or any special Valentine’s occasion.
